Juanita Chapa

Hi my name is Juanita Chapa. I am a song writer and a publisher for my own works. I am affiliated with BMI. I was born in Levelland Texas and grew up in the small town of Hondo Texas. Hondo has a large following of Tejano music. So, being Tejana I grew up with different genres of music. As a child I slept with my transistor radio under my pillow and heard music every night. I belive that for that reson I can combine lyrics to melodies so easily. I play the acoustic guitar. I have a large library of songs I have written. Just waiting for the right artist and producer to bring them to life. The most exciting part of my song writing is to hear what an Artist does with my song. Each singer and producer is Unique. I have songs recorded by Ruben Ramos and the Mexican Revolution, Culturas, Rick Fuentes and the Brown Express, Cristelo, Audi Castillon, Jessica Baieza, Dee Burleson, just to name a few. I recently joined forces with Arron Gonzales of TEX SOUND Music as a song writer. I am proud to be part of the TEX SOUND group.There is a portion of my library in the TEX SOUND Song Shop page. Designed for musicians and singers looking for original works. But she is fabulous. I write Tejano, Conjunto, Rancheras,Cumbias, Country, Religious in English and Spanish. I can also write personal songs. My mission statement is: Create original songs that will last for generations. And to inspire other artist to never give up on their dreams. Thank you
